Terms of service

These terms govern GameLicense hosting — hosted key stations at <name>.gamelicense.org. By purchasing or using a hosted station, your studio agrees to them.

The service, as is

The service is provided as is, and you use it at your own risk. There is no guarantee of uptime and no guarantee of data retention. Studios should keep their own copy of their keys; the station's upload page has an Export button so you can download your keys at any time.

Lapsed payment

If a yearly payment lapses, the station enters a 14-day grace period. During it we send email warnings, and your keys remain exportable the whole time. After the grace period ends, the station is shut down.

Prohibited use

You may not store or distribute through the station: stolen keys, fraudulently obtained keys, resold keys, or any keys your studio has no right to distribute. We may suspend a station that violates this.

Liability

Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the last 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
